My library aide put together this great display for the fall season for new books at the High School. The students were surprised to a large goal post in the library.

My library aide and some students she had helping her for summer school made this video to use when we talk about care of books. It is awesome. 

Symbaloo for your website

This school year I have started using Symbaloo on most of my web pages. It makes a great way to easily change the links from anywhere. It is easy to add a picture for the site or even some sites automatically come up with a picture. I found it was easy to embed the Symbaloo into my site. My student find it easy to find the site they are looking for with the nice pictures. My students call the pictures "apps".

This is our new middle school bulletin board. I had one of my high school TA's look at a bunch of other READBOX examples and this is what she came up with. I think it turned out great. I have noticed my students stopping to look at the pictures of books. 

Fun boards

Here are a few bulletin boards that my high school helpers put together for our elementary school at the end of the summer school program to get us ready for the fall. I think they turned out really nice. 

Teachers Read Too

This is a bulletin board that we put together at the end of the school year. I asked the teachers to take a picture of themselves reading somewhere outside of school. I didn't get a lot of the teachers to participate because it was a busy time for them. The students really liked the board.
