Don't Let the Pigeon Touch the Books
My library aide and some students she had helping her for summer school made this video to use when we talk about care of books. It is awesome.

Symbaloo for your website
This school year I have started using Symbaloo on most of my web pages. It makes a great way to easily change the links from anywhere. It is easy to add a picture for the site or even some sites automatically come up with a picture. I found it was easy to embed the Symbaloo into my site. My student find it easy to find the site they are looking for with the nice pictures. My students call the pictures "apps".

His father get hurt and is unable to go back to his job working at a lumberjack camp in the northern woods of Wisconsin. Sevy has to go in place of his father. He has to leave school and his friends to embark upon this adventure. Sevy faces many challenging and dangerous situations while at the lumberjack camp.
White Pine: My Year as a Lumberjack and a River Rat is written for the upper elementary and middle school aged children. This book is a wonderful addition for anyone teaching about Wisconsin’s past or about the world of the lumberjack. Those who love the Little House on the Prairie books will also enjoy this book.
