The month of August was crazy in our school district. We built a new school this year and all the library stuff was delivered to the new school on August 21.
We packed the books up in plastic wrap and labeled each pack with section and number. It made it easier to put things on the shelf. I didn't realize how long it would take to put the packet in order.
We needed to have the main part of the library put together for open house on August 29.
Our library turned out beautiful. As you can see I even have a few extra shelves. Isn't that the dream of every LMS to have extra space?
I have a wonderful classroom space that will have a Smart Projector.
I ended up with beautiful display cases to hold stuffed animals with a book. We have 14 rolling shelving units so we can move them around.
This looks fantastic! Congratulations on the new space. I think the rolling carts is a really smart furniture choice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful LMC. I am jealous of the rolling bookshelves. We remodeled our LMC this summer and moved books and shelves around and it took a long time. It's amazing what you were able to do in 8 days.
